Seal Island (Western Carracks) lies 3½ miles (5.6 km) west of St Ives, along the rocky Cornish coastline. Godrevy Island is just over 3 miles (4.8 km) east of St Ives. These rocky outcrops, near Zennor and Gwithian respectively, are fantastic locations to spot Atlantic grey seals, either feeding or resting in areas where they feel safe—protected from predators and the forces of the Atlantic Ocean.

Winter Sea Safari
Our winter Atlantic Ocean wildlife sightings are considerably different to the summer months with significantly more Dolphins and even Humpback whales and Fin whales, some of our planets largest animals. We only work around high tides during winter months so departure times vary day to day, sometimes we’ll be heading out early on a crisp morning and others returning as the winter sun sets.
